As a devoted husband and father of two kids I remember well the uncertainty I felt becoming a new dad (and husband). Would I know what to do? How do I change a diaper? Will we know what to do if our child gets hurt? These are all normal feelings of inadequacy as soon-to-be parents move towards the due date. By the time our second child was born we felt like veterans, but those first couple years were difficult.
Now I’ve got this parenting stuff down (OK, so not quite) I thought I’d branch out a bit and try to learn other tips to help keep our household on track. After all, it takes a lot to keep a home running smoothly. Thankfully, my wife does a great job with it while I work full time and blog part time, so most of the tips are her own, but a few are ones we’ve come up with together over the years.
